This Privacy Policy describes how VibeCheck ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
VibeCheck does not require account registration. The app uses:
- Photos: Images you take or select for skin or face analysis.
- App preferences: Language, country, onboarding progress, and similar settings stored on your device.
- Analysis history: Results and thumbnails you choose to keep locally on your device.
- Optional feedback: The message you write, your app version, and an app-specific identifier generated on your device.
- Advertising and purchase data: Device, usage, ad interaction, and transaction information processed by Google services as described below.
2. How We Use Your Photos
Photos you submit are sent over a secure connection to our server solely to provide the AI analysis you request. After processing is complete, the submitted photo is deleted from our server. We do not sell your photos or use them to train models.
3. Local Data Storage
Analysis results, history, app preferences, premium status, and review state may be stored locally on your device. You can remove this information by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.
4. Third-Party Services
VibeCheck uses third-party services to operate selected features:
- Google AdMob: Displays advertisements and may process device identifiers, diagnostics, usage data, and ad interactions under Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Play: Handles subscriptions, purchases, and review prompts under Google's applicable terms and privacy policy.
- AI processing providers: Process your submitted image only to produce the requested result. Images are not retained after processing is complete.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell or trade personal information. Information is shared only with service providers when needed for AI analysis, advertising, purchases, review prompts, security, and optional feedback handling, or when required by law.
6. Data Retention and Security
Submitted photos are deleted from our server after analysis. Optional feedback and related technical details may be retained as needed to investigate reports, improve the service, and prevent abuse. We use reasonable technical measures to protect information in transit and during processing, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Deletion Requests
VibeCheck has no user accounts. You can delete locally stored data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it. Submitted analysis photos are automatically deleted from our server after processing.
To request deletion of optional feedback or other information that may be associated with your app-specific identifier, email cukkacreatives@gmail.com with the subject “VibeCheck Data Deletion Request” and include enough detail for us to identify the information.
8. Your Choices
You can choose not to submit a photo, decline optional feedback, manage advertising choices through your device or Google settings, and manage or cancel subscriptions through your Google Play account.
9. Children's Privacy
VibeCheck is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Medical and Entertainment Notice
VibeCheck is not a medical application. Skin-related results are AI-generated estimates and do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Other look-based features are provided for informational or entertainment purposes and may be inaccurate.
11. International Processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Privacy and data-protection laws in those countries may differ from those where you live.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be published on this page with a new update date.
